Saved by the Bell: The Lost Episodes hits The PIT tonight at 9:30pm!
In 2013, at Malibu Sands Beach Club, a time capsule was found that contained thousands of VHS tapes marked with “Saved by the Bell: The Lost Episodes.”
As an homage, an all-star cast of improvisers will resurrect these lost episodes right before your very eyes, complete with full costumes, ’90s music, and a whole bunch of time outs!
Going back in time with some of your most (and least) favorite characters in the Saved by the Bell universe never felt so good!

Bonesaw McGee stopped into The PIT office today for some downtime before Triple Threat: Wrestling-Inspired Improv tonight at 11pm.
Zhubin Parang (The Daily Show, The Scene, What I Did For Love, The Patron Saints) and Julie Sharbutt (The Good Wife, Birds, The Scene, Gravid Water, The Patron Saints) have been improvising together since they were doe-eyed college whelps. Can you imagine?!
Zhubin unfortunately will not be appearing in this show, but graciously appearing in his stead will be improv legend SCOTT ADSIT (30 Rock, Moral Orel, Gravid Water, John & Scott)!

JULIA MORALES (www.callmejules.com) is a an actor from Houston, Texas. She studied Theatre Arts at the University of Houston and graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in 2004. In 2008, she received the NBC Diversity Scholarship to study at the Peoples Improv Theatre (PIT). In addition to the PIT, she has studied at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), The Magnet Theater, and Massive Creativity. Julia has performed in short form and long form improv teams including, Northcoast, Nobody’s Token, Red Tie Mafia, OJ in a Sippy Cup, and several others. She is currently on two PIT house teams, Someday The Cake and Punchbowl (musical improv team). She has also performed in all-ladies teams such as Lucy, Massive Ladies, Deep Fried, Spano’s Breakdown, and Mrs Jones. In 2011, she won the PIT All-Star Award. Julia is also the founder/director of the 10,000 Hours program (www.improv10000hrs.com), which has inspired countless students to work diligently on their craft. She also writes and performs sketch comedy with her indie team, Loose Diamonds. She is also an actor with the Story Pirates, which encourages children of all ages to be creative and write stories. Julia can be seen on episodes of her own YouTube talk show called, “Blackorican Rant” coming in February 2013.

NEW CLASS: Puppetry for Improvisers w/ David Fino
Students will learn the basic fundamentals of “Mouth and Rod” style puppetry. Core concepts covered will include eye focus, mouth synchronization, character development, rod manipulation, vocal characterization, and overall puppet movement technique. Students will incorporate these with the basic long-form improvisation skills they have previously learned.
Everyone who signs up will be provided with “practice eyes” and a hand made, professional-style practice puppet that are theirs to keep!
DAVID FINO has been involved with puppetry since 1993 when he trained with master puppeteer Paul Vincent Davis of the Puppet Showplace Theatre in MA. David has been through numerous training workshops with The Jim Henson Company and Sesame Workshop. He has performed on Comedy Central, MTV, CBS and Atom.com. On stage, David played the title character in “Bear in the Big Blue House, Live!,” a national tour based on the hit program by Mitchell Kriegman and the Jim Henson Co. Other credits include Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” by Trilobite Pictures, and “Seemore’s Playhouse” by King Features/S4K Entertainment. Most recently he starred with Jon Gabrus and Rachel Bloom in “The Fuzz” – a feature film by Waverly Films/Greencard pictures. His Improv training comes primarily from Bobby Moynihan, Gavin Speiller, Zack Woods and Will Hines of UCB.
