ATTN: Musicians who want to jam out and play at a new awesome space,

Comedy Bar NYC wants you! Into getting some music going tonight? How about in the upcoming nights/weeks? We are trying to get live music that is Bare Bones.

We have an upright piano and improv jazz has been a big hit as the raw acoustics of the space are incredible. If you would want to perform tonight or this week, contact bj@thepit-nyc.com. We only have a few floor amps but are getting mics and sound this week. Until then it’s Bare Bones Music Nights!

If anyone you know wants to get up on stage, contact bj@thepit-nyc.com. The fun starts at 9:30pm and we get a nice crowd from Simple Studios rolling in close to 10pm.

Millions of people take public transportation to different places every day. Unfortunately, the most popular destination is Crazytown. Transit Stories is the sketch show you’ve experienced during that hellish commute home, while taking that plane across country or that time you just wanted to ride your bike to get some exercise, but were suddenly sucked into the middle of a real life BMX Bandits scenario sans Nicole Kidman.

ComedyBarNYC is coming soon!

Here are some pictures of the construction that’s been underway!

The ComedyBarNYC made it through Hurricane Sandy and is hopefully set to open November 2012!

It will be a comedy oasis - a bar, coffee shop, comedy community center for all comedians before and after shows and classes right in the heart of midtown. Come relax with other like-minded comedy folks!
