MURDERFIST in The New York Times?! HECK YEAH! Look at those fresh faces outside The PIT!
MURDERFIST “[…] delivers on its promise of crude, punked-out chaos. The scenes are visceral and unpolished, full of spurting gore and exposed flesh. If a sex toy appears at the beginning of a scene, by the end, someone will fondle it.”
You can see MURDERFIST live this Saturday at 11pm!

A sketch comedy about a baby pageant princess? OMG. You know you’re in! Join us for Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting tonight at 8pm!
The Underdeveloped and Overexposed Life and Death of Deena Domino
Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting brings their full length Epic Opus for the Untalented back to the PIT for ONE NIGHT ONLY!!!
What’s more depressing than an aging child movie star? An aging child Reality TV semi-star! Katie Hartman and Leah Rudick blow up your brain in The Underdeveloped and Overexposed Life and Death of Deena Domino, the curdled odyssey of a baby pageant princess and monster extraordinaire. A wicked exploration of the duo’s twisted fear for the children who know nothing in their lives but the desperation of cheap fame, this hour-long comedy follows the life of one baby pageant princess into adulthood and beyond. When there’s nowhere to go but down, proceed with caution. And tampered amphetamines.
Directed by Daniel Pettrow (Wooster Group)!
“Shamelessly over-the-top, Deena is juvenile, tasteless, irreverent, vulgar, grotesque, profane and obscene. I loved every minute of it.”
—TIME OUT NEW YORK
“Fearless. Deena plays like Gypsy was rewritten by the guys behind Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force.”
Originally developed in part with the support of Voice & Vision Theater at the 2011 ENVISION Retreat for Women Theater Artists at Bard College.

This Saturday at 9:30pm, experience musical sketch comedy in a brazen flaunt of youth as Pop Roulette presents: Beautiful Young.
Pop Roulette performs musical sketch comedy, and — in addition to relentlessly skewering the most current and ridiculous events in pop culture — enjoys dancing in hurricane conditions and topless skydiving, because we are young, and beautiful, which logically means that we are impervious to our mortality.
Witness a brazen flaunt of youth as Pop Roulette presents: Beautiful Young.

2009 Best Sketch-Comedy Group, ECNY Awards
"From sketches about incest to killing one’s parents, no boundary goes uncrossed." — 2010 Best Sketch-Comedy Group, The Village Voice
"Above all, what Murderfist wants is an audience both exhausted from laughing and feeling as if they’ve been to a highly experiential rock concert. It’s a rare and energetic notion for comedy, and it’s possible their verve could land them a television show or an opening slot with GWAR." — Matthew Love, The Village Voice
"Wild and aggressive but not confrontational, Murderfist is about as punk as sketch comedy gets. Raw, committed performances and loopy jokes undermine theatrical unity every time, but the mess this crew makes is well worth any necessary cleanup." — TimeOut New York
