Come on down and see four solo shows like no other at And Just When Everything Was Going So Well this Sunday at 8pm!
Featuring Atheer Yacoub, Becky Bush, Kristen Mallette, and Michelle Ciotta.
Directed by Peter Michael Marino.
CENSUS OF HUMOR
Raised by Palestinian Muslims in Alabama, Atheer lands in NYC to work as a dietitian while moonlighting as a comedian, living the single life, and disappointing her mother.
WWAD? WHAT WOULD ANGEL DO?
Overworked, underpaid, Becky suffers her own personal hell. So she decides to blow off some steam at a club. There, Becky meets a drag queen named Angel, who just may be the Angel that saves her.
Desperately trying to escape an impossibly small town in the 1930’s, Kristen Mallette embodies the tough as nails spirit of her grandmother, reliving the troublesome day she accidentally landed herself on the wing of an airplane as a young girl. She is so brave! Well… almost.
The mean streets of New York City are no place for a hypersensitive crybaby with an overactive imagination. After one too many times openly weeping at subway performers, weddings, and television commercials, Michelle sets out on a quest to not shed a single tear.

You wanna see how this lady mourns? Well, she decides to create a solo show! Join us for You’re Doing Great! A Bold-Faced Lie tonight at 7pm!
In August of 2011, Sharon Spell’s parents passed away 18 days apart and from separate causes, and the way they died neither knew about the other’s demise. She and her siblings had to work together as a team that month. Afterward she did what any normal person in mourning would do; she wrote a comedy show about it. So don’t worry, she really is doing great! Now, where’s the bourbon?
Directed by Claire Ayoub.

Bing Faithful’s Very Merry Nondenominational Holiday Special. TOMORROW at 8pm!
Bing Faithful’s Very Merry Nondenominational Holiday Special is a loosely scripted-partially improvised solo performance and honors the history of the holiday crooner within the dark “the show must go on” world of live entertainment.
The Premise: Moments before he is to take the stage with his band, The Bing Faithful 5, holiday crooner Bing Faithful learns all members of his band have died in a horrific bus accident on the way to the The PIT. Yet, Bing is a consummate professional and knows “the show must go on!” at all costs. What follows is one character’s journey through grief and agony as, alone on stage, he attempts to compensate for the bands absence by singing all 5 parts and harmonies to all the classic holiday songs, requested by the audience.
The Twist: In a very paced & patient reveal, the band members of The Bing Faithful 5 (Micah Sherman, Mark Stetson, Nick Vatterott [2011 Andy Kaufman Award winner] and Gred Kotis) enter the house and walk into the stage. Each is badly bloodied, bruised and burned in their holiday clothes, and each awkwardly confronts Bing, all while maintaining their professional integrity in front of a live audience, while singing holiday songs, requested by the audience.
